Hamilton CITY Residents - Scholarships are available through the Hamilton Foundation. Once your application is submitted, it will be matched with a scholarship that fits your criteria. You will be notified by the foundation when a decision has been made.

Horatio Alger National Career & Technical Scholarship- Scholarships are available for US citizen applicants who will be enrolled in a career or technical degree/certificate granting program in the Fall of 2019 that will lead to employment, have completed high school or earned their HSE, are Pell eligible and under the age of 30. Applicants could receive up to $2,500. The 2019 application process is now open and awarding scholarships on a rolling basis.

Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation – Scholarships for children of Marines and Navy Corpsmen pursuing post-secondary education at an accredited school. The scholarship is need-based and will be awarded to every eligible applicant.

The Women’s Fund of the Greater Cincinnati Foundation - For women aged 25 or older who are starting or returning to school. Applications will be accepted each year between March 1 and April 30. Funds awarded will be paid directly to the school and may be used only for tuition and fees. Funds awarded are no less than $1,000. - This is a large database of scholarship that you can search for free. Great Oaks does not administer these scholarships. If you have questions about a certain scholarship please contact the agency associated with the scholarship.

The Courter Trade Scholarship -This scholarship is open to individuals who live in the Three Rivers Local School District, serving the villages of Addyston, North Bend and Cleves, Ohio and the remainder of Miami Township in Hamilton County, Ohio. The scholarships will be awarded to those applicants who wish to go to accredited trade schools and become part of the skilled trade occupations. Candidates of the same age group already in a profession who require certifications to advance their careers are also encouraged to apply for financial support. Applicants must be high school graduates between the ages of eighteen and twenty-five and live within the Three Rivers Local School District. The application opens on March 8, 2019, and closes April 15, 2019. Awards will be determined by a selection committee through the Amerian Legion and be announced in May 2019. Click here to apply.

Technical Scholarship -Ohio’s Electric Cooperatives is seeking applicants for its Technical Scholarship, available to high school graduates pursuing career training at a technical school. OEC will award two scholarships: One $2,000 award to a student in a four-year program, and another of $1,000 to a student in a two-year program. Applicants must be currently attending or planning to attend an accredited technical school or program. Winners will be required to submit proof of enrollment in order to receive the funds. Winners’ names will be published in Ohio Cooperative Living. The deadline for scholarship applications to be received by OEC is April 30. Click here to apply.

PHCC Foundation Scholarship -The PHCC Educational Foundation and its industry partners are teaming up to provide financial assistance to students pursuing a career in the p-h-c industry. The Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors — National Association (PHCC) Educational Foundation has $100,000 in scholarship awards up for grabs. Every plumbing and HVACR apprentice or trade school student, plus college students who are pursuing studies related to these industries have a shot at our 43 different awards worth $1,000 to $5,000 each.
