Learn machine tool set-up and basic machining skills, basic computer numerical control (CNC) and computer-assisted drafting (CAD), plus blueprint reading and interpretation of drawings and symbols.

What you will learn: Shop safety, quality control, blueprint reading, precision measuring tools, bench work, layout work, power saws, manual mill and lathe (setup and operation), grinding machine, Mastercam (CAD/CAM design software), CNC programming mill and lathe (setup and operation), employability skills.
