Topics covered include safe workplace practices, industry-standard certifications such as OSHA, CPR, and basic first aid, as well as specialized credentials in Fiber Optic and Premises Cabling Technician roles. Through hands-on activities, students gain practical experience and technical expertise, preparing them for roles as skilled technicians in the broadband infrastructure sector. Students can earn the following credential Certified Premises Cabling Technician (CPCT) and Certified Fiber Optics Technician (CFOT).
